- 1 8 oz. brick cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for sprinkling on top)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and butter until creamy using a handheld mixer or by hand.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and combine well until incorporated.
- Gradually add the cake mix, mixing until the dough is thick and well combined.
- Scoop heaping tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet using a medium scoop or 1 1/2 tablespoons.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until the edges are set. They may appear slightly undercooked.
- Remove cookies from the oven and allow them to cool completely on the baking sheet. Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
