Description

Peeps Pretzel Rods bring together the perfect combination of crunchy pretzels, smooth white chocolate, and colorful candy melts. These delightful treats are simple to prepare and are sure to impress at any gathering or holiday celebration with their vibrant colors and fun shapes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 pretzel rods
  • 4 cups white chocolate chips (or vanilla almond bark, white chocolate melting wafers, or white candy melts)
  • 1/2 cup pink candy melts
  • 1/2 cup light blue candy melts
  • 1/2 cup yellow candy melts
  • pastel easter sprinkles
  • 24 peeps bunnies (any color or assorted colors)

Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet or countertop with parchment paper or wax paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the white chocolate chips for 1 minute. Stir and continue heating in 30-second increments until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted white chocolate into a tall jar or cup for easy dipping.
  4. Dip a pretzel rod ¾ of the way into the melted white chocolate, letting excess drip off, then place it on the parchment paper. Repeat with the remaining pretzel rods.
  5. Melt each color of candy melts in separate bowls according to package directions.
  6. Pour each color of melted candy melts into a ziplock bag or small piping bag and snip a small piece off the corner.
  7. Drizzle the colorful candy melts over the white chocolate-dipped pretzel rods and immediately add sprinkles while the drizzle is wet.
  8. Use leftover melted candy melts or white chocolate to attach Peeps on top of each pretzel rod.
  9. Let the pretzel rods set at room temperature for about 20 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make sure to let the chocolate set completely for better presentation.
Feel free to get creative with sprinkles and colors to match any occasion.
Store leftover pretzel rods in an airtight container at room temperature.
