Description

Enjoy these Rice Krispie Treats for Valentine with their irresistible flavor and simple prep. Made with butter, marshmallows, and Rice Krispies, they’re perfect for celebrating love with a delicious homemade treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 tablespoon butter unsalted
  • 12 ounce mini marshmallows
  • 7 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 5 ounce white chocolate melts melted
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper and set it aside.
  • Melt butter in a large pot over medium-low heat, then add marshmallows and reduce the heat.
  • Stir constantly until melted to prevent sticking.
  • Remove from heat, pour in Rice Krispies, and stir quickly until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press evenly (use butter or spray on your hands or a piece of paper to prevent sticking).
  • Let cool in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before cutting into individual pieces as desired.
  • Melt white chocolate in a heat-safe bowl in the microwave or over a double boiler, adding food coloring if desired.
  • Cool slightly and transfer to a piping bag, cutting a small hole at the tip.
  • Drizzle over the treats and add sprinkles if desired.

Notes

For uniform pieces, use a ruler or knife to mark sections before cutting.
Experiment with different colors of food coloring to match your theme.
Store treats in an airtight container for freshness.
