Instructions
- Ensure butter and cream cheese are at room temperature to prevent splitting.
- In a large bowl, sift the powdered sugar and cocoa powder together and set aside.
- Beat the butter in a mixing bowl at high speed for 2 minutes. Scrape down the bowl with a rubber spatula.
- Add the cream cheese and beat on high speed for an additional minute.
- Gradually mix in half of the sifted sugar and cocoa mixture on low speed until just combined, then add the rest and mix until smooth.
