- 5–6 ears fresh corn
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Place the trivet rack inside the Instant Pot and pour in 1 cup of water.
- Remove the husks from the corn ears or leave them on and husk after cooking. Place 2-3 ears of corn in the pot, then layer 2-3 more on top, facing the opposite direction. Cut corn cobs in half if necessary to fit.
- Close the Instant Pot lid and set the valve to sealing. Cook on Manual (High pressure) for 3 minutes. Once time is up, quickly release any remaining pressure and remove the lid with caution.
- Use tongs to take out the hot corn. Serve immediately with butter, salt, and pepper.
Notes
For added flavor, try seasoning the corn with paprika or garlic powder before serving.
You can keep the husks on during cooking for extra sweetness, but be careful when removing them afterward.
Adjust the cooking time if using larger or smaller ears of corn.
