Description

  • 2 and 1/2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into cubes, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom, optional
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • ice cream, for serving, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a 9×13-inch baking dish or 12-inch skillet, combine the peaches, bourbon, orange juice, orange zest, vanilla extract, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Toss to ensure the peaches are evenly coated.
  3. Add the cornstarch and mix well. Set this mixture aside while you prepare the crisp topping.
