- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cookie sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and 1 cup of chocolate chips; set aside.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just incorporated. Fold in the remaining chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared cookie sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–13 minutes until the edges are golden. Let cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
