Description

These Matcha Brownies are rich and fudgy, featuring the unique flavor of matcha and creamy white chocolate chips. Perfect for anyone craving an easy, homemade dessert!


Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 sticks unsalted butter (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter and white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth, then mix in the matcha powder and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and kosher salt.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until the mixture is well combined.
  5. Gently fold in the flour until no streaks remain.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and flatten it out.
  7. Drizzle the cooled matcha ganache over the batter evenly.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

Make sure to cool the matcha ganache slightly before drizzling it to maintain the layered effect.
Storage: Keep brownies in an airtight container for up to 5 days to keep them fresh.
Feel free to add chopped nuts or additional chocolate chips for extra flavor.
